A Word from the Artist
"When I work at
the same time in a series of digital Art, I
keep different series to create new ones in a later session, generating a studio in which shapes, color, lights, textures are merged
with the background, expressing my energy and motion, with Digital
tools and techniques, maintaining the digital hand drawing impulse
as the main source".
•Since the late
1980s, Salazar has used the computer as a tool for developing ideas. He may scan sketches, manipulate them digitally, print them out, and paint over them. Sometimes this process results
in a one-of-a-kind piece; in other cases, the outcome is an original
image that Salazar editions as a print in giclee or other media.
•Evolving from a direct exploration of organic form to an abstraction of living
in harmony with nature.
